Matt most recently served as Senior Vice President, Data Analytics, at Finity, Inc., where he supervised project management and data analytics staff, as well as led for policy development and dissemination initiatives. Prior to Finity, Inc., Matt previously served as Deputy Director at the New Mexico Human Services Department, where he directed policy, financial, and operational components of the Medicaid program and was responsible for managing the State’s Medicaid budget of over $5 billion. He managed operations of the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS), and he was also responsible for all financial functions including rate setting, payment and delivery system reform, as well as quality improvement initiatives. Prior to that role, Matt was Vice President for Medicaid Policy, Government Affairs, at UnitedHealth Group, where he identified initiatives that supported key business objectives and business development opportunities through a strategic approach of engaging Medicaid business leadership. Matt was also the Deputy Secretary at New Mexico Aging and Long-Term Services Department. In this role, he oversaw operations of four of the Department’s five divisions and all administrative, financial, and human resource functions.
