The certification affirms that Sellers Dorsey is an industry-leading steward of sensitive and confidential data.
Sellers Dorsey has successfully completed its Systems and Organizational Control (SOC) 2 Type 2 examination. In doing so, Sellers Dorsey maintains its adherence to one of the most stringent compliance frameworks for service organizations and provides additional assurance to its clients, through an independent auditor, that its business process, information technology, and risk management controls are properly designed and operating as intended.
SOC 2 reports focus on a Service Organization’s internal controls designed to meet its service commitments and system requirements based on the Security, Availability, and Confidentiality criteria established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
The official auditors’ report provides a thorough review of Sellers Dorsey’s internal controls, policies, and processes for consulting work with public and private health care entities. It also reviews Sellers Dorsey’s processes relating to risk management and vendor due diligence, as well as Sellers Dorsey’s entire IT infrastructure, software development life cycle, change management, logical security, network security, physical & environmental security, and computer operations. SOC 2 Type 2 certification is one of the many ways in which Sellers Dorsey is fortifying its robust security program. This certification affirms that Sellers Dorsey is an industry-leading steward of sensitive and confidential data.
