Amanda has nearly 15 years of experience advancing policy initiatives for clients at the intersection of health care and education through strategic guidance, coalition building, policy analysis, and relationship management. Her work has focused on identifying opportunities to expand and protect Medicaid funding at the state and national level for school health services. Prior to joining Sellers Dorsey, Amanda ran her own consulting firm where she provided program strategy and development services to a diverse range of clients. Amanda facilitated the engagement of 39 local area schools with a Medi-Cal managed care plan in Northern California to design a school-based partnership and population health management strategy centered on pediatric preventative services. Her work also informed the campaign to rapidly expand telehealth flexibilities for school-based health services in California during the COVID-19 public health emergency. Amanda previously served as the Director of Program Strategy and Policy at Paradigm Healthcare Services where she was responsible for fee-for-service and administrative claiming program policy, research and analysis, and relationship management.
