Avolyn is an experienced public health professional, who joined Sellers Dorsey from AFL Enterprises, where she worked as a Public Health Consultant. There, she supported implementation of virtual dental services, educated stakeholders on teledentistry and its impact on health equity, and provided subject matter support for health equity frameworks. Prior to her work with AFL, Avolyn worked as a Graduate Research Assistant for Emory University’s Maternal and Child Health Center of Excellence, where she managed the mentorship program between 1st and 2nd year MPH students, facilitated networking panels, and provided administrative support for leadership.
As a consultant for Sellers Dorsey, Avolyn supports the firm’s Senior Consultants and client servicing teams in delivering expert and effective consulting services in Medicaid financing and policy, provider reimbursement, regulatory compliance, managed care, and quality improvement.
