Benjamin Edmands is a Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Consonance Capital Partners. Prior to founding CCP, he was a Managing Director at JPMP, where he co-led the Healthcare Group. Ben joined JPMP in 1993 and served on numerous boards, including Big Rock, CareMore, DJO, LHP Hospital Group, MedQuest, National Surgical Care, and Warner Chilcott, Inc. At Consonance, he has served or currently serves on the boards of Bako Diagnostics, Embark Behavioral Health, Enclara Healthcare, Turn-Key Health, Orsini Pharmaceutical Services, Priority OnDemand, Sellers Dorsey, and Summit Health. Additionally, he is the Chairman of the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health’s Health Policy and Management Executive Council, is on the Board of Trustees for StreetSquash, an after-school youth enrichment program in Harlem and served on the board of Mount Sinai’s Children’s Environmental Health Center. Benjamin holds a BA from Colgate University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Alongside other members of the Board, Benjamin’s experience and knowledge of healthcare are vital to the Firm’s ongoing success in shaping the Medicaid landscape to enhance access and quality for underserved populations.
