Chris comes from the Virginia Hospital and Healthcare Association (VHHA), where he spent 26 years in various leadership roles and had overall responsibility for financial policy issues, health data programs, VHHA’s strategic planning efforts and internal financial affairs. He also served as Executive Vice President of VHHA Services, focused on developing, offering, and managing an array of products, services, and solutions for member organizations. Chris played an integral role in securing state and federal approval and implementation of Medicaid expansion and hospital rate enhancements resulting in improved access to care for more than 400,000 Virginians and delivering more than $1 billion in additional resources to VHHA member organizations.
