Emily is a highly accomplished healthcare policy strategist and government affairs leader with a proven track record of helping improve healthcare access. Before joining Sellers Dorsey, Emily served as Chief Policy and External Affairs Officer for Trenton Health Team where she led the organization’s government relations, community engagement, policy, and maternal health initiatives. There, she helped manage relationships with federal, state, and local officials as well as state legislature, and other healthcare stakeholders to ensure successful advocacy strategies that secured funding and helped improve healthcare quality and access. Additionally, she served as a Senior Policy Advisor for a former New Jersey Governor, she was a Healthcare Policy Analyst for the American Action Forum, and interned for the Health Subcommittee for the U.S. House of Representatives: Energy and Commerce Committee.
As Associate Director for Medicaid Policy, Financing, and Strategy, Emily advises the Firm’s clients by utilizing her expertise and specialized skills in Medicaid strategy and financing, managed care, and provider policy and reimbursement. She helps clients create value, maximize growth, and improve business performance by providing policy guidance, relationship management, and technical assistance.
