Emma is an experienced consultant and Medicaid program manager with over a decade of expertise in Medicaid and public health systems transformation, data modernization, and policy development. She joins Sellers Dorsey from Briljent, where she served as a Senior Health IT Consultant, providing Medicaid subject matter expertise to internal team members and external clients; developing innovative approaches to support partnerships between Medicaid agencies, academic medical centers, and community-based organizations; and serving as the senior expert on state-wide public health data modernization initiatives. Her previous experience also includes more than 6 years with the Ohio Department of Medicaid as an analyst and administrator. She worked to develop alternative payments models and value-based purchasing programs for payers and providers, focusing on policy development, health information technology, payment methodology, clinical quality measures, health equity, and performance evaluation and reporting.
As Director of Sellers Dorsey’s Ohio State-Based Practice, Emma provides strategic direction, oversees all the practice’s Medicaid financing and consulting initiatives. She oversees the practice’s operations ensures exceptional client satisfaction as the practice supports the firm’s mission to improve healthcare quality, equity, and access.
