Heather previously worked for the Texas Association for Home Care & Hospice (TAHC&H), where she was responsible for project management, research & analysis, policy guidance, member education, and monitoring of state/federal government programs and initiatives for home and community supports services providers. Prior to her work at TAHC&H, Heather was a Program Specialist with the Texas Health & Human Service Commission, where she oversaw the Integrated Care Management (ICM) program which provided acute care and long-term services and supports to 74,000 Texans in 11 counties. Heather also worked as an independent consultant, developing, and evaluating RFP responses, conducting mock evaluations and scoring for bid proposals, and providing project management, strategic planning, research and evaluation, readiness reviews, writing and editing services for her clients.
Heather provides project management and strategic guidance to Sellers Dorsey clients using her in-depth knowledge of Medicaid, managed care, and life-cycle project management principles. She oversees multiple projects for state government clients, health plans, hospital systems, and national organizations in the Medicaid and Medicare environment.
