Martha joined Sellers Dorsey after 32 years in state government, including serving two lieutenant governors and four House speakers. She served as Director of the state of Georgia’s House Budget and Research Office from 2011 until 2023, where she oversaw the professional staff for the House of Representatives’ 42 standing committees. From 1998 to 2003, she served as Director of the Senate Research Office with oversight over the research, analysis, and preparation of policy and budget information to members of the Georgia State Senate. Prior to joining the Senate Research Office, she served in multiple roles in the Lt. Governor’s Office, including Chief of Staff and Executive Assistant for Policy and Budget.

Martha is an experienced government and health policy expert who oversees Sellers Dorsey’s Georgia state practice.
