Most recently, Ryan served as the Program Integrity / Special Investigative Unit Manager at Virginia Premier Health Plan, where he was responsible for the unit’s initiatives for all lines of business. He implemented audit programs, testing procedures, work plans, and methodologies. Previously, Ryan worked at Myers and Stauffer serving Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Commonwealth of Virginia, where he provided audit guidance, identified areas of high risk for improper payments, and developed clinical review methodologies.
