A healthcare leader with more than 25 years of Medicaid experience, including as Medicaid Director for the State of Florida, Thomas joins Sellers Dorsey from the Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration, where he served as Deputy Secretary for Medicaid & Deputy Secretary for Finance and Analytics, leading and overseeing the operations of the $35B Florida Medicaid program, providing services to nearly 4.7M Floridians. He was responsible for program policy, quality, plan management, recipient and provider assistance, finance, data analytics, and fiscal agent operations. Under Tom’s leadership Florida experienced transformational changes in its Medicaid program. Tom spearheaded multiple innovative initiatives to enhance the Medicaid landscape and improve healthcare outcomes for Medicaid recipients.
